Engineering students win first prize in Northeast Section of the Ohio Water Environment Association Student Design Competition

CWRU engineering students Aaron Mann, Kevin Pataroque, and Peter Thompson won first prize in the Northeast Section of the Ohio Water Environment Association Student Design Competition for their design of an upgraded biosolids treatment process for the Upper Tuscarawas Water Reclamation Facility.

The team, mentored by Kurt Rhoads, assistant professor of civil engineering, will represent Ohio in the national competition at WEFTEC 2020 in New Orleans in October.
