The Employee Wellness Program will offer a free Intro to Weight Training class Aug. 21 from noon to 1 p.m. at 121 Fitness Center.
The class will go over the details of strength training activities, such as how to get started, what exercises work which muscles, how much to lift, proper techniques and more.
Participants will learn the basics, receive handouts to take home and be able to try machine weights safely with instruction.
The class is limited to 20 people, so register now. If registration is full, email Bryn Mota to be put on the wait list.
