Employee Wellness Program to hold Colorectal Cancer Awareness seminar

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and to help promote awareness and prevention, the Employee Wellness Program will sponsor a discussion on the topic March 23 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Biomedical Research Building 932.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in men and women, and it is preventable, easy to treat and often curable when detected early.

Gregory Cooper, professor of medicine, will give an overall view of risk factors and different screening options.
