University leaders are asking faculty and staff to share their preferences regarding ways to reduce health care expenses. With the projected growth in health coverage costs, if the university takes no action, employees will face monthly premium hikes.
The first university town hall meeting regarding benefits will take place Thursday, Oct. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.
Earlier this month, a survey was conducted to give all faculty and staff the chance to weigh in on their preferences. Results were announced in The Daily.
Additional meeting dates and times will be announced in The Daily.
