Employee Appreciation Day to honor faculty and staff contributions March 1

Faculty and staff are integral to Case Western Reserve University’s mission. And to show gratitude for those wide-ranging efforts, the university will host an Employee Appreciation Day celebration Friday, March 1.

Held in conjunction with National Employee Appreciation Day, the event at Case Western Reserve will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the first floor of Tinkham Veale University Center.

Faculty and staff can stop by for desserts and snacks from Bon Appetit Management Co. and to enter their names in a raffle for various prizes, including airline tickets.

President Barbara R. Snyder will speak at the event at 2:45 p.m. Provost and Executive Vice President Ben Vinson III and the schools’ deans are expected to attend.

Attendees will have the chance to stop by for a massage courtesy of One to One Fitness Center, to take pictures in a photo booth and meet with representatives from multiple departments at informational booths.

The event will build off of the “Thank Beyond the Possible” Staff Appreciation Day last year.
