The executive committee of the Emeriti Academy invites members of the university community to its fall event Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 1:30 p.m. in the Adelbert Hall Toepfer Room.
During the event, panelists will discuss “Finding Meaning in Retirement” from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The panelists will be:
- Lynn Singer, Distinguished University Professor: “What Science Tells Us about Healthy Aging”;
- Terry Hokenstad, Distinguished University Professor Emeritus: “Finding Meaning through Social Interactions”; and
- Eva Kahana Distinguished University Professor: “Proactivity and Resourcefulness in Retirement.”
Refreshments will be served throughout. A reception will follow the discussion.
