The Ellipsis Institute for Women of Color in the Academy invites women of color on campus to its spring series, Women of Color on the Line: Our Bodies Are Borders.
The Ellipsis Institute for Women of Color in the Academy intentionally creates space for women of color who are students, staff and faculty, as they build relationship across lines of difference in a unified pursuit of advocacy efforts for all women, in all roles.
The series will be composed of the following sessions:
- Toxic Masculinities: Wednesday, Jan. 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248 (RSVP by Friday, Jan. 18);
- Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Lunch+Learn: Friday, Feb. 1, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom; and
- Crucial Conversation: Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248 (RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 13).
The series will conclude with the Ellipsis Institute for Women of Color Annual Conference, which will be held Tuesday, March 26, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center.
