Elevator Pitch Workshop: “Presenting Your Research to Strangers”

Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors (SOURCE) will host upcoming workshops to help students prepare to give elevator pitches, both in person and through video.

Lecturers Bill Doll and Barbara Burgess-Van Aken will present Elevator Pitch Workshops: “Presenting Your Research to Strangers.”

A session on pitches on video will be held Monday, Nov. 8, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. This virtual session will help students learn how to present their research effectively while maximizing the potential of the video format. Register for the video pitches workshop.

A session on in-person pitches will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Bingham Building, Room 140. This in-person session will help students to learn to explain their complex research succinctly in face-to-face situations. Register for the in-person workshop.
