Case Western Reserve University’s Eldred Theater will present Black Comedy, by Sir Peter Shaffer, Nov. 15, 16, 22, 23 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 17 and 24 at 2:30 p.m.
This British farce follows the antics of a “borrowing” gone wrong. After helping himself to an absent neighbor’s treasures in order to impress his fiancée and her family, a sculptor desperately tries to return them before circumstances take a turn back to the light.
The undergraduate cast includes Evan Bramburg, Thomas Burke, Brett DiCello, Bridgette Garb, Kayla Gray, Zachary Leibell, Grant Simonson and Rita Sirianni.
Ron Wilson, the Katherine Bakeless Nason Professor of Theatre, will direct the performance.
