Choosing to be a caregiver is an enormous, selfless commitment. Everyday can be vastly different based upon the needs of the care recipient.
Unforeseen crises such as weather emergencies, pandemics like COVID-19, financial hardships, deaths in the family, divorce, and more can complicate this already challenging journey. Human Resources will host a presentation by IMPACT Solutions titled “Effective Caregiving During Times of Crisis” Thursday, March 18, at 11 a.m. via Zoom.
This program will define caregiving, identify successful strategies for caregiving with and without a crisis, highlight specific aspects related to caregiving during COVID-19 and provide numerous resources for caregivers to enhance the caregiving experience.
