Neuromodulation breathing tube startup looks to begin first clinical trial

MedCity News: A Case Western Reserve University spinoff is developing a prototype of a neuromodulation device to help patients with breathing tubes swallow, and a clinical trial is expected to begin early next year. “What we’re going to figure out in the trial is the details of how we can make this system work,” said Dustin Tyler, associate professor of biomedical engineering.
