Dual Delivery Summer Camp—“Designing for Inclusion: Universal Design and Accessibility”

University Technology ([U]Tech), Teaching and Learning Technologies and the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education are offering the Dual Delivery Summer Camp to help faculty members prepare to teach this fall. 

Counselors and campers meet every Monday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m. EST until July 9.  

The next session will be held today (June 18) and is titled “Designing for Inclusion: Universal Design and Accessibility.”

During this session, participants will learn how to:

  1. Identify the individual needs of learners (e.g., international, students with disabilities, individual differences);
  2. Apply strategies from universal design for learning to promote student success when curating and creating learning resources;
  3. Identify ways to make content accessible to all learners; and
  4. Identity resource offices on campus that serve students with diverse learning needs.
