University Technology ([U]Tech), Teaching and Learning Technologies and the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education are offering the Dual Delivery Summer Camp to help faculty members prepare to teach this fall.
Counselors and campers meet every Monday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m. EST until July 9.
The next session will be held Monday, July 6, and is titled “Creating a Communication Plan and Classroom Community.”
During this session, participants will:
- Draft a communication policy for their course that includes, but is not limited to, email expectations, response times, and participation in synchronous and asynchronous activities;
- Identify three ways to engage students and build a community in their course; and
- Identify three ways they can incorporate flexibility into their course plan.
