Dionne Broadus, senior director of foundation relations in the Office of Government and Foundation Relations, was selected as a member of the 2015 City Advocate Program with the Downtown Cleveland Alliance.
Broadus, a Cleveland native, lived and worked in New York City before returning home to Cleveland in 2014. The City Advocate Program is a volunteer civic engagement program to help advance the growth of Downtown Cleveland.
A committee of Downtown Cleveland Alliance staff members and program alumni selected Broadus from nearly 85 written applicants.
Launched in 2009, the Downtown Cleveland Alliance City Advocates Program serves to provide civic education and foster active engagement for rising leaders in the Downtown Cleveland community.
Participants work collaboratively on projects that support downtown’s quality of life and ability to attract residents, businesses and visitors.
