As Case Western Reserve University students and faculty and staff members start the new academic year, the Division of Public Safety advises all members of the community to download the latest safety and transportation apps for campus.
Spartan Safe
If you would like to chat with public safety staff, receive notifications about what’s going on around campus, view previous safety alerts and more, the Spartan Safe is for you.
Spartan Ride
Can’t wait for an Uber or Lyft? The Spartan Ride App combines existing on-demand Safe Ride services and shuttle route schedules into one mobile app, helping users find the most convenient route to their destination.
Safe Ride services are available Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. If you are in need of assistance after hours, contact the university’s communication center to schedule a walking escort or courtesy transport.

The Rave Guardian app and the Safe Ride app are no longer in use. Please remove the apps from your phone and download Spartan Safe and Spartan Ride.
