The Office of Human Resources would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to complete the benefits survey announced last week – and remind those who haven’t done so yet that the deadline is 5 p.m. this Friday, June 3.
“We are pleased to see the large numbers of people who already have shared their perspective regarding medical benefits and wellness at Case Western Reserve,” said Carolyn Gregory, vice president for human resources. “This input will be invaluable to us as we consider changes required to keep the plans sustainable.”
The Office of Human Resources is looking at short- and long-term options for coverage and wellness programs designed to help limit recent dramatic growth in health care spending. In each of the past five years, the university has experienced double-digit percentage cost increases. As part of this assessment the office wants to hear from everyone who might be affected by the changes – a group that is primarily comprised of faculty and staff.
To encourage participation in the survey, the Office of Human Resources will hold a random drawing of participants who wish to have a chance to win an Apple iPod Touch. The deadline to complete the survey is 5 p.m. Friday, June 3. Take the survey online. (The final question is to enter your email address and name to win the iPod Touch; once you submit that page, click the “Exit this survey” button in the top right-hand corner.)
