Donate items for a community baby shower

The CWRU Postdoc Association is hosting a donation drive to collect diapers, wipes, and new/gently used toys, children’s books, and clothes up to size 6T! These items will be distributed for free to local parents who attend the Community Baby Shower on Wednesday, July 27th between 4-7pm at Edgewater Park Pavilion.

The drive benefits Mom Effect, a local Non Profit which helps make sure families have everything they need to thrive in Cleveland. At last year’s community baby showers, Mom Effect was able to collect over 15,000 items and helped 150 local families.

The last day we’re collecting is July 15th. We have two locations on campus:
– Tomlinson Hall, room 203, School of Graduate Studies (Main Quad)
– Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, room 248 (The Tink).
Please drop off only between Monday-Friday 9am – 3pm.

This is a community shower meant to benefit any new parents in the community. You can email Dr. Marie McCausland (prior CWRU postdoc) at marie@digidoula.com for more information or register online. Walk-ins are welcome too.
