Award winners for the 2016-17 fiscal year
Collaboration with a Positive Impact on Students Award: CWRU Green Dot
This award is presented annually to the department or program that has worked collaboratively across disciplinary boundaries, whether within department, across departments, with professional colleagues or with other campus organizations, to enhance the CWRU community and the experience of our students.
Fostering the Goal of Diversity and Inclusion Award: Social Justice Teach-In, Center for Civic Engagement and Learning
This award is presented annually to a Division of Student Affairs Department or Program that reflects and strengthens CWRU’s commitment to diversity and Inclusion.
School and Community Pride Award: Office of Student Activities and Leadership
This award is given to the department or program best demonstrating school and community pride in such a way that they invigorate those around them and inspire others to show their Spartan spirit.
Outstanding Achievement Award: Laura Bentley, student service coordinator at the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning
This award is presented to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievement of a support staff member who advances the mission of the Division of Student Affairs at CWRU and is essential to the success of their department or office
Professional Staff Member of the Year Award: Jennifer DeSantis, assistant director for academic resources at Educational Services for Students
This award recognizes a professional staff member who consistently shows dedication and provides excellent service to both CWRU students and the Division of Student Affairs.
