Diversity Town Hall Meeting to address university’s progress

A year after final approval of Case Western Reserve University’s Diversity Strategic Action Plan, a progress report will be given on the university’s efforts to improve campus diversity and inclusion.

President Barbara R. Snyder will give opening remarks, followed by Vice President for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Marilyn S. Mobley, who will present a review of CWRU’s diversity and inclusion progress.

Provost and Executive Vice President William A. “Bud” Baeslack III will introduce accomplishments and best practices session, and university deans will then detail highlights of their schools’ progress.

A question and answer period will follow.

The meeting, sponsored by the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, is open to all current faculty, students and staff. It will take place Friday, April 19, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Wolstein Research Building auditorium.
