Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group: America’s blood plasma industry, part II

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group for its next session Thursday, Oct. 12, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Wolstein Research Building, Room 1223B.

This session will be the second part in a discussion surrounding the blood plasma industry. Those planning to attend should watch the documentary Blood Business: The New Cannibalism? (Medical Documentary) | Real Stories (available on YouTube) prior to attending.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss articles relevant to diversity issues in population health research, learn how to include diverse perspectives in our research, and build new collaborations and networks together.

This group is a safe space for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion and is for people who are both new to these topics in research and those who have previously worked in this space. The learning group meets the second Thursday of each month.
