Graduate students are invited to join Diversity 360’s 2018-19 cohort of graduate students for a discussion on gentrification and urban planning.
This Diversity 360 Dinner for Graduate Students will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom.
Throughout the year, the cohort will host discussions on a variety of topics through facilitated sessions, panels or guest speakers. The topics will include:
- Gentrification and urban planning;
- Academic inequity in the K-12 system;
- Cultural appropriation;
- Socioeconomic status;
- Intersectionality: Women’s History Month; and
- Colorism.
Free dinner is included at the events.
