Meet Cleveland’s own Sherlock Holmes at fascinating ‘Forensic Medicine, Sherlock, and Steampunk’ exhibit at CWRU’s medical museum
The Plain Dealer: Former faculty member John George Spenzer is known as Cleveland’s Sherlock Holmes, helping police solve crimes—and he’s the subject of a new exhibit at the Dittrick Museum of Medical History. Even though he died in 1932, “Spenzer himself started the exhibit and gave us the idea,” said Brandy Shillace, research associate and guest curator.
