The Dittrick Museum of Medical History, which is housed in the Allen Memorial Medical Library, now is open until 7 p.m. Wednesdays and offers new Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The museum opens weekdays at 9 a.m. and remains open through 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The museum boasts an impressive collection of rare books, artifacts and images. Key exhibits include anatomy, endoscopy, microscopy, contraception, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and diagnostic instrumentation.
Admission is free.
