Experiment at Fred Hutch raises hopes in battling brain tumors
Seattle Times: Distinguished University Professor Stanton Gerson, discussed a recent gene-therapy experiment at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The experiment helped extend the lives of patients with glioblastoma by months. “I think this is actually one of those proof-of-concept milestones,” Gerson said. “This is the very first clinical validation that all that science made sense.”
