Distinguished University Professor Alan Rocke serves as chief historical advisor on new PBS three-part series

CWRU professor Alan Rocke featured in PBS series ‘The Mystery of Matter’
The Plain Dealer: Alan Rocke, Distinguished University Professor and the Henry Eldridge Bourne Professor of History, explained a new PBS three-part series, The Mystery of Matter: The Search for the Elements, on which Rocke is a chief historical adviser. “This series portrays science as a very human process,” he said. “A great humanity is revealed by these stories, but also the unfolding process of how science actually comes to these understandings of nature.”
