“Disrupting the Culture of Violence: How to be a Prosocial Bystander”

As part of the campuswide sexual violence prevention initiative It’s On CWRU, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will host a workshop titled “Disrupting the Culture of Violence: How to be a Prosocial Bystander.” The event will take place virtually Tuesday, April 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This evidence-informed bystander intervention program uses community care as the foundation of intervention. Participants will learn about identifying potential violent incidents, the individual responsibility to intervene, and how to intervene safely and effectively in order to maintain a safe environment for all people.
