As part of its What? Wednesday brown-bag lunchtime program, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will sponsor a discussion led by Alex Leslie from the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and Megan Gergen from the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center. Their talk, titled “Raising Awareness of Sexual Assault and Gender-Based Violence,” will explore issues surrounding sexual assault, violence against women and what individuals can do to be agents of change in the community.
The event will take place Wednesday, April 9, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Thwing Center’s Spartan Room.
