The Case Western Reserve University Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School Chapter will host a discussion titled “Quality Improvement: What is QI, how do we do it, and why is it important” on March 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. at University Hospitals Kulas Auditorium.
Attendees will learn about quality improvement and why its implementation is essential. Panelists will share their experiences with quality improvement in health care settings as well as promote programs, methods and tools commonly used to minimize risk and error.
Speakers include Mary Dolansky, associate professor of nursing, and Scott Reisberg, quality improvement administrative consultant at Akron Children’s Hospital.
