Students are invited to listen to Deputy Sheriff Carlis McDerment Jr. discuss the war on drugs at “Police Officer Says: End the Drug War,” an event sponsored by Young Americans for Liberty.
The event will take place Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Thwing Center’s 1914 Lounge.
McDerment is a speaker from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, a group of active and retired police officers who support drug legalization.
This event is open to the public. Pizza and dessert will be provided.
