The last Ethics Table meeting brought forth a series of topics to be covered at future gatherings, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 4, with a discussion on “Democratization in the Corporate University.” The group, which is open all members of the campus community, will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cleveland Room of Thwing Center.

What does the goal of democratization of education imply? What is democratization in the corporate university? How is power shared? How is learning transformed? How are decisions made in an inclusive, transparent, and accountable manner?

These and other questions will be the subject of Wednesday’s discussion.

Upcoming topics include education and debt.
