The Department of Human Resources’ Organizational Development and Learning Unit will launch a six-part series beginning Wednesday, June 30, based on the book: Rising Above a Toxic Workplace by Gary Chapman, Paul White and Harold Myra.
During the series, attendees will examine various aspects of a toxic workplace and learn to understand others while finding tools to improve their own workplace. Lisa Board-McShepard, training analyst for organizational development and learning and employee relations specialist in the Department of Human Resources, will facilitate the sessions.
Each session is from 1 to 3 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209. The sessions will be held:
- June 30,
- July 14,
- July 28,
- Aug. 11,
- Aug. 25 and
- Sept. 15.
Attendance is required at all six sessions.
Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to the workshop. Registration is available online.
