With warmer weather on its way, May’s Bike to Work Day on the horizon and Sustainable Cleveland’s Celebration Year of Sustainable Transport, the next Green Bag Lunch event will cover how to join the festivities.
The Office for Sustainability will hold its last Green Bag Lunch of the semester with a discussion on biking to work Wednesday, April 6, from noon to 1 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room.
A panel discussion will be held with avid cyclists and bike-to-work commuters representing Bike Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals.
Participants will learn about laws, gear, cyclists’ rights, and tips and tricks on how to get to work or school on two wheels instead of four.
Coffee, tea, water and cookies will be provided at the event. Attendees are encouraged to pack their own green bag lunch and bring a reusable drink container.
Registration is available online.
