Case Western to team with Cleveland design company to produce 5,000 medical face shields a day
WKYC-3 / NBC-Cleveland: Case Western Reserve University announced a partnership with Penn State Behrend and Nottingham Spirk to eventually produce 5,000 face shields a day for healthcare providers. Ian Charnas, director of innovation and technology at Sears think[box] said: “Access to rapid prototyping equipment at think[box] allowed this to ramp up in six days. Without that, we would have had no chance to make this happen so quickly.”
