The Increasing your Scholarly Impact: Navigating Promotion and Tenure – A University Libraries Workshop Series continues Friday, Oct. 27, with a talk on “Digital Scholarship, Services, Data Visualization and Data Management and Preservation.”
This session—the third in the series—will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library, Room LL06.
Attendees will get an overview of the newest and latest technologies that Kelvin Smith Library and the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship offer to help their research have a greater impact during the tenure process.
The session also will cover ways to organize, present and preserve scholarship and research data using emerging digital technologies.
More information will be provided on:
- Consultation services (e.g., organizing and creating useful databases, using GIS to enhance discovery and presentation);
- Production services (e.g., digitization services); and
- Data management (library assists with researcher as well as the requirements for data management and DMPs by sponsored research).
