“Digital Health: A Tool to Address Health Inequity”

Digital health has demonstrated the ability to support vulnerable communities with managing healthcare and preventing healthcare conditions. However, if factors such as design, access, and function are not considered, digital health can exacerbate health issues.

The Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) will host a seminar series event exploring this topic Wednesday, April 12, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Devlon Jackson, assistant research professor at University of Maryland’s School of Public Health, will present “Digital Health: A Tool to Address Health Inequity.”
