Did You Know: Research ShowCASE

With the end of the academic year nearing, students all across campus will engage in a variety of traditions to mark the occasion. As a follow-up to our December Did You Know section highlighting winter traditions, we will share some spring traditions of past and present.

This year’s Research ShowCASE is the 15th held at CWRU, a unique celebration of research from all disciplines at the university. Last year’s showcase drew more than 1,200 CWRU undergraduate and graduate student presenters in poster competitions and interactive exhibits.

This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Mona Chalabi, the data editor of The Guardian and a journalist for National Public Radio, as well as several other lectures and presentations. Research ShowCASE 2019 will take place Friday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
