With homecoming weekend Oct. 10-13, Case Western Reserve University alumni gathered from all corners of the country for festivities and to celebrate their Spartan spirit. In honor of these celebrations, we will highlight information related to alumni throughout the month.
While alumni can engage with Case Western Reserve University year-round, homecoming is one of the biggest opportunities for them to return to campus and reflect on their time as students.
Homecoming 2019 was held Oct. 10-13 and included a full schedule of 104 events over four days for alumni (and faculty, staff, students and families), from lectures hosted by faculty to events aimed at evoking Spartan pride.
There were several affinity groups that hosted events to gather alumni over shared connections.
This year, the community recognized milestone anniversaries of the African American Alumni Association, Fowler Center for Business as an Agent for World Benefit and The Observer.
During the weekend, 3,375 total registered individuals participated in the events—1,307 of which were alumni.
