Case Western Reserve University’s South Asian fusion a cappella group, Dhamakapella, has had an eventful and successful semester. In the past month, Dhamakapella has traveled to two out-of-state competitions and has placed at both.
On Jan. 26, Dhamakapella competed at Phillyfest Phillharmonic in Philadelphia and placed second out of five teams. Then, last weekend, they went up against seven of the best teams in the nation at Gathe Raho 2013 in Iowa City and placed first.
