“Developing People, Power, and Partnership: A Community and CWRU Conversation”

The CWRU Climate Action Network invites members of the Case Western Reserve University community to discuss the results of its climate and community focus group study and discuss advancing sustainability in our communities.

Titled “Developing People, Power, and Partnership: A Community and CWRU Conversation,” this event will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Cleveland Public Library (14101 Euclid Ave.).

Attendees will hear from Simone Lightfoot, a leading expert working to advance environmental justice, energy equity, and promoting sustainability in the Black community. She has led policy, voting, and energy efforts as a civil rights leader at local, state, and national levels of the NAACP.
