CWRU/CIM orchestra to present ”Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in Baroque Europe”

The Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Institute of Music Baroque Orchestra and Baroque Dance Ensemble will present “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in Baroque Europe” on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Harkness Chapel.

Get a glimpse of glamorous lifestyle at the turn of the 18th century throughout the evening’s entertainment, from virtuosic “dinner” music to exposure to earthly elements on the way to a theatrical production of music and dances by Louis XIV’s favorite woman composer, Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre.

The event is free and open to the public.
