Marie Lathers, the Elizabeth M. and William C. Treuhaft Professor of Humanities in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, was appointed the Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Visiting Professor in Humanities for 2020-21 at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
At CWRU, Lathers has received the Mortar-Board “Top Prof” Award. She teaches all levels of French language and literature, and leads the French spring study abroad service program in Montreal.
