In an op-ed for The Plain Dealer, Leena Palomo, associate professor of dental medicine, explained why people should keep flossing.
In response to an Associated Press article claiming there is no scientific evidence pointing toward the benefits of flossing, Palomo explained that there are no studies to support not flossing.
She went on to explain the need for more studies into the topic before coming to conclusions.
