Dean of Research Christian Zorman discussed Intel Corp.’s plans to manufacture microchips in Ohio

How the Columbus Intel plant impacts Northeast Ohio 

Cleveland Magazine: Christian Zorman, associate dean for research, offered his perspective on the impact Intel Corp.’s plans for a $20 billion microchip manufacturing plant near Columbus could have on Northeast Ohio. “Students who graduate from Case Western [Reserve], Cincinnati or Ohio State looking for jobs in the semiconductor industry don’t have to leave,” he said, countering the“brain drain” to Silicon Valley and other areas. “They can find opportunities here.”
