Carol M. Musil, dean of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and the Edward J. and Louise Mellen Professor of Nursing, was named a Sigma International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Inductee. Musil is a distinguished scholar and has served as dean of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing since July 2019.
Her research focuses on the physical and psychological health of caregivers over time and interventions that affect health and family well-being during times of strain and transition.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America, Musil is noted for her commitment to students and colleagues in the nursing profession as well as other disciplines.
