The Office of Research and Technology Management has announced the return of Research ShowCASE, a day to celebrate research at Case Western Reserve University. The event will take place in the Veale Convocation Center on Friday, April 12. The deadline to submit research proposals is Friday, Feb. 1.
All are invited to participate with other Case Western Reserve faculty, staff and students, as well as researchers from CWRU-affiliated institutions, by presenting research at Research ShowCASE 2013.
The event will provide an opportunity to display research in a conventional scientific poster, in an interactive display booth or through other creative means.
In addition to the opportunity to display and share work, graduate students, professional students and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to participate in the research competition, which will include having research presentations evaluated with feedback provided. Winning presentations will be recognized at the Graduate Awards Ceremony later in the spring.
In order to display at Research ShowCASE, participants must submit an online abstract describing their research. Undergraduate students must have submissions approved by faculty advisers.
