Call for presentations: Submit to Research ShowCASE 2014 by Feb. 3

Research ShowCASE CWRUThe Office of Research and Technology Management and SOURCE (Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors) are seeking submissions for Research ShowCASE 2014.

The event will combine, for the first time, the spring undergraduate research symposium, Intersections, with the graduate research event.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation by Feb. 3. The event will be held Friday, April 18, at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.

Participants will have the opportunity to display research in conventional scientific posters, interactive display booths, oral presentations or through other creative means. Additionally, undergraduate and graduate students, professional students and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to participate in the research competition, which will include having the research presentation evaluated and feedback provided.

In order for work to be displayed at Research ShowCASE, an online abstract describing the research must be submitted. Student submissions must be approved by the students’ faculty advisers.

More information about the event and details on submitting an abstract can be found at research.case.edu/showcase/index.cfm.
