Barron’s: Vipin Chaudhary, the chair of the Computer and Data Sciences Department and the Kevin J. Kranzusch Professor, weighed in on Elon Musk’s plan to improve Twitter by making the algorithms that govern the platform’s behavior “open source.” Chaudhary said that the comments “may be more marketing or creating a sense of trust. I think people are not informed.”
