Daniel J. Flannery, the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor and director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, presented to the Cuyahoga County Opiate Task Force at their meeting in February.
In his presentation, “Responding to Overdose in Cuyahoga County Final NIJ Grant Report Summary Findings,” Flannery shared data from recent reports on opioid-related deaths in Cuyahoga County and discussed methods to improve evidence collection at the scenes of drug overdoses.
