Research Computing + Cyberinfrastructure (RCCI) invites the campus research community to attend and participate in the Cyberinfrastructure Day 2018 event Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building auditorium.
RCCI’s fourth annual Cyberinfrastructure Day event will feature keynote speaker Robert Kirsch, chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and executive director of the Cleveland FES Center. Other distinguished speakers will be Timothy Beal, the Florence Harkness Professor of Religion and chair of the Department of Religious Studies, and Jill Barnholtz-Sloan, associate director for bioinformatics at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.
In addition to speakers, RCCI also will introduce flash talks and poster sessions to encourage graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their work that has made use of the campus cyberinfrastructure, with a $100 Amazon gift card awarded to the best poster (graduate student and undergraduate divisions).
