Support Case Western Reserve University’s rich research culture and learn about university happenings at the fifth annual Cyberinfrastructure Day, hosted by University Technology’s Research Computing + Cyberinfrastructure (RCCI) team.

The following speakers will present:

  • Jennifer Carter, assistant professor of materials science and engineering, on “Data Science Enabled Design of Interface-Rich Materials;”
  • Blanton Tolbert, associate professor of chemistry, on “Structures of Protein-RNA Complexes that Contribute to Viral Pathogenesis;”
  • Sudha Chakrapani, associate professor of physiology and biophysics, on “Cryo-EM Reveals ‘Near-Atomic’ Details of Serotonin (3A) Receptor Function and Drug-Modulation;” and
  • Jesse Berezovsky, associate professor of physics, on “CWRU and the Second Quantum Revolution.”

The event will take place Thursday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom.

After the speaker sessions, the RCCI User Group program will host a meeting at 2 p.m. to discussing plans for the upcoming year, to share experiences using RCCI services and resources, and to consider how RCCI may better support research.

The user group meeting program will evolve based on input received from feedback.
